''Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit.'' It has been used for thousands of centuries dating back to Asian and African cultures. Aromatics from plants and herbs has been incorporated into oils and balms to holistically promote health and well-being.

How does aromatherapy work?

The aromas can be inhaled or absorbed through the skin by using different products such as candles, diffusers, oils, creams, balms and sprays. You are also able to blend aromatics to boost the desired purpose.

Some benefits of aromatherapy include:

  • managing pain

  • relaxing the mind and body

  • sleep aid

  • energy booster

  • immunity booster

  • fighting bacteria, infections and viruses

Red Sun Aromatherapy (our sister company) strives to create blends to help customers boost their well-being with their candles. A few of these are Sunset for relaxation, Sunrise for an energy booster and Island Love for a bit of self love. These three fragrances make up the Therapy Bundle.

They have a few other therapeutic candles like Eucalyptus Sage and Peppermint for clearing the air and sinuses, and improving mental function.

The main goal here at Red Sun Aromatherapy is to create positive spaces with candles, where you can take control of your health, physically and mentally. Shop the Signature Collection for all your therapy needs ;)

Hopefully we can continue to talk about the importance of taking care of ones mental health. In the meantime, light that candle, put on your favourite playlist and let our aromas take you to pure bliss.
